The Minister of Culture and Information Iyad bin Amin Madani emphasized the importance of translation in the transfer of science and the achievement of cultural and intellectual convergence, commending in this regard Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Prize for Translation. In a press statement following the announcement of the winners of the Prize here today, he said that Riyadh became one of the great capitals currently witnessing cultural and artistic activities such as National Festival for Heritage and Culture; International Book Fair; Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques International Prize for Translation and King Faisal International Prize. Minister Madani noted that Riyadh message to the world capitals through cultural activities is another embodiment and expression of the vision of The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz which the King always affirms and launches. It was also embodied in many addresses of the King, his meetings and in the initiative to establish a centre for national dialogue.
