German Chancellor arrives in Moscow

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has arrived on a one-day visit to Moscow to meet with Incumbent President Vladimir Putin and President-elect Dmitry Medvedev, Itar-Tass reported.
The German chancellor will be the first western leader to meet with Dmitry Medvedev after his victory in the March 2 presidential election in Russia.
High on their talks' agenda will be the construction of the Nord Stream gas pipeline, diversification of economic ties, Iran's nuclear program and Kosovo.
