The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has registered a case against former minister of state Mushtaq Victor on charges of human trafficking, officials said. We have registered a case against Victor for his alleged involvement in human smuggling, FIA Director General Tariq Pervez said. Officials said the Norwegian Embassy had submitted a complaint with the FIA in August 2006 against Victor for his alleged involvement in human smuggling. It had said that Victor had used his recommendation letters for sending people abroad illegally. The FIA investigation teams had found that Victor had illegally sent people to Germany, the UK , Austria , Italy and Canada.
