Dmitry Medvedev will win
Russia's presidential election by a huge margin, first official
results from the Central Election Commission showed on Sunday, according to Reuters.
The following is a table of results after ballots from 20
percent of polling stations had been counted:
Dmitry Medvedev (United Russia) 64.86 pct
Gennady Zyuganov (Communists) 19.74 pct
Vladimir Zhirinovsky (LDPR) 12.50 pct
Andrei Bogdanov (Democratic Party) 1.53 pct
The turnout as of 7 pm Moscow time (1600 GMT) was 64.23
percent. The Central Election Commission said it expected
turnout to reach about 67 percent.
