President of King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), Dr. Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Swayel received here today Japanese Ambassador to the Kingdom Shigeru Nakamura. During the meeting, they discussed ways of cooperation in the fields of science and technology between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Japan. Dr. Al-Swayel asserted the importance of scientific cooperation with research centers in Japan, pointing out that such cooperation serves the two countries. He also briefed the ambassador on the efforts exerted by KACST to support and activate the activities of scientific research in addition to the KACST achievements in this field. The Japanese Ambassador welcomed opening prospects of cooperation with the KACST, expressing readiness to provide all possible facilities to make collaboration with Japanese research centers fruitful and constructive.
