The Foreign Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) concluded at the Conferences Palace here today the deliberations of the 106 session of GCC ministerial meeting under the chairmanship of Qatari Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud, who is the president of the current session of the ministerial council. The Saudi delegation to the meeting was led by Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Minister of Foreign Affairs. A press statement issued at the conclusion of the meeting reviewing the developments of joint cooperation march since the end of the last session of the Ministerial Council in a number of areas and latest developments of political, regional, Arab and international issues. The statement pointed out that the Council reviewed the march of joint economic integration between the GCC countries and discussed the report of the GCC Secretary General on the implementation of the Gulf Common Market announced to be set up at the beginning of January, 2008 and the activities of the Secretariat General in following up the implementation of decisions issued by the Supreme Council pertaining to the Common Market as well as the issuance of the executive decisions in the GCC member states.
