The Foreign Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) started at the Conferences Palace here today the deliberations of the 106 session of GCC ministerial meeting under the chairmanship of Qatari Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud, who is the president of the current session of the ministerial council. The Saudi delegation to the meeting was led by Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Al Mahmoud delivered a speech in which he thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General; and the Saudi Government for their support to GCC march and for the generous hospitality and warm welcome. He pointed out that the meeting comes in the wake of the 28th session of the Supreme Council hosted by Qatar. The agenda includes a number of political, economic, security, social, educational and environmental issues, he said. Following that, the ministers held a closed-door session.
