Six people have been confirmed dead in the coal mine flooding on Feb. 24 in north China's Shanxi Province after rescuers retrieved the last body at midnight on Friday, Xinhua reported. The rescue work has ended at the Donghe Coal Mine, in Puxian County, according to the Taiyuan Coal Gasification (Group) Corporation, the state-owned firm that owns the mine. The flooding occurred at about 8:20 p.m., trapping eight miners underground. Two of them were rescued. The cause of the accident is still being investigated.
