Mexican police found nine dead bodies buried in four clandestine graves on the grounds of a house in Ciudad Juarez, on the border to the United States, the Public Security Ministry (SSP) said Wednesday according to DPA. The authorities did not rule out that more bodies may be found in further excavation, since only half the grounds had been inspected by Wednesday and the operation was ongoing. A first body was found Thursday, 1.65 metres below the ground, next to a house where the authorities seized 1,819 packages of marihuana - a total of 1.7 tonnes. Two people were arrested. On Saturday, investigators found three bodies in a second grave. On Sunday they found a third grave with one more body, and on Tuesday four more bodies were found in a fourth grave, the SSP said. As a border city, Ciudad Juarez is a key location for organized crime groups.
