Six people were injured in a gas blast in an apartment building in Russia's Lipetsk region on Tuesday, Itar-Tass quoted the regional emergencies centre as saying. “According to specified information, six people, including two children, were injured in the gas blast in the district of Gryazevo,” the source told Itar-Tass. “A household gas blast ripped through a five-storey building in small hours on Tuesday. Interfloor decks were destroyed and fire began,” the source said. At present, the fire has been extinguished. Rescuers and fire-fighting brigades are working on the site of the accident.
