The Shoura Council held here today a session presided over by the Chairman of the Council Sheikh Dr. Salih bin Abdullah bin Homaid. During the session, the council discussed the possibility of approval by Saudi Arabia of the Arab Convention on Human Rights and decided to continue its discussion in a future session. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency following the session, Assistant Secretary General of the Council Ahmad Alyahya said the council approved a number of draft agreements of cooperation and understanding with Chad, Bulgaria and Greece. The council also approved an amendment of an article of the regulation on trade of endangered species and their products.
