In implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to provide aid relief to the afflicted people in Tajikistan, the first Saudi airlift relief plane carrying 10 tons of relief materials arrived today at Dushanbe International Airport . Upon arrival at the airport, the Saudi relief delegation was received by Tajikistani Deputy Minister of Economy Kan Jayv Thokher Aldeen and Director General of the Foreign Ministry Ardashih Kadiri. The Head of Saudi Relief Delegation Ibrahim Suleiman Al-Duraiweesh said that this is the first plane among the airlift relief ordered by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to aid people afflicted by cold in Tajikistan. "The total load of the airlift relief is 80 tons, containing foodstuffs, dates and blankets", he added. The Tajikistani Deputy Minister of Economy thanked the Government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, saying that the Kingdom is the first Arab and Muslim country that offers aid to the people afflicted by cold in Tajikistan.
