Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz announces initiative to assist Palestinians

Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz, the President of AGFUND, has announced an initiative for assisting the Palestinians of Gaza, who are facing an economic siege.
Prince Talal has issued his directives to provide the Palestinians of Gaza with relief assistance including medical supplies and equipment.
The value of the assistance is estimated at $1 million.
The assistance will be delivered through the Jordanian Hashemite Charitable Commission.
It will be airlifted form Saudi Arabia to Amman and from there by trucks to Gaza via the West Bank.
Meanwhile, Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, the Personal Representative of Prince Talal, expressed appreciation for the role of the Jordanian authorities in facilitating the arrival of the assistance to the Palestinians in Gaza.
It is worth mentioning that Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz called last November to dedicate efforts for confronting the siege imposed on the Palestinians.
Prince Talal believes that more assistance should be extended to the Palestinians.
