German aid worker freed from captivity in Somalia

A German aid worker was set free Wednesday after
being abducted by gunmen in northern Somalia's, dpa quoted a security official as saying.
The official said police released the man from captivity by force,
injuring some of the kidnappers.
The man, who is a project leader for the relief agency German Agro
Action, was kidnapped Tuesday on the border of Somalia's
semiautonomous regions of Puntland and Somaliland.
