At least ten persons including an election candidate were killed in a suicide bombing in Pakistan s tribal areas Monday, officials said. Eleven people were also wounded in the attack in an election rally of Awami National Party (ANP) near Eidak village at Miran Shah Road in North Waziristan. The election rally was returning from Tabai when a suicide attacker entered into it with his explosive laden car near Eidak village and blew himself up resulting in casualties. The wounded persons were immediately shifted to the Mir Ali Hospital. Nisar Ali, who was contesting the Feb 18 parliamentary elections from the tribal area, was also killed in the attack. No individual or group claimed responsibility.
