The Real Estate Development Fund provided 493,632 loans amounting to SR 130,701,000,000 since its inception in 1395H until the end of the fiscal year 1425/1426 resulted in building more than 592,358 housing units, according to the annual report issued by the Real Estate Development Fund. Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf, the Minister of Finance and National Economy who is also the Chairman of the Fund's Board of Directors said in the report that the number of housing units distributed at the end of the fiscal year 1425,1426 increased to 20,444 housing units distributed in 9 different cities. The report indicated that the Fund's services have been extended to 3976 cities and villages in the Kingdom and the number of applications for private housing loans amounted to 52,104 in the fiscal year 1424,1425 and 47,506 in the fiscal year 1425,1426.
