Yemen and France discussed today possibilities of widening teaching French language to cover the untargeted provinces and qualifying French teachers, SABA reported. Deputy Minister of Education Abdul-Aziz bin Habtor and the Cooperation Linguistic Attaché at the French embassy in Sana'a agreed on holding training courses for French teachers in the schools that teach French language as well as get acquainted with their education means requirements. Bin Habtor valued assistance presented by the French government for education ministry in field of teaching French language. For his part, the French official affirmed that his country would continue supporting teaching French language in addition to establish an association for the French language teachers in Yemen. The French language is taught in a number of secondary schools in 16 provinces.
