Yemen will participate in the two-day works of the Euro-Arab Conference, starting on February 11 in Malta Island. The delegation of Yemen will be headed by the Yemeni Foreign Minister Dr. Abu Bakr Al-Qurbi. He said that the conference, to be attended by Arab foreign ministers and the European Union, will discuss a number of issues, notably a joint dialogue between European and Arab countries, developments of regional issues particularly the current situations in Palestine, Iraq, Somalia, Sudan and Lebanon in addition to issues of economic and trade cooperation. He added that the conference will discuss other issues of common concern, including the issue of reforming the system of United Nations, the fighting against terrorism and international cooperation in this field.
