The government will bear, for a period of three years, (50%) of port fees levied by the government. 2- The government will bear, for a period of three years, (50%) of the fees of passports, traffic licenses and ownership transfer and renewing residence permit for house workers. 3- Annually adding 5% "cost-of-living allowance" to the salaries of government employees and retirees, for a period of three years. 4- Increasing allocations of Social Security by (10%). 5- Continually supporting basic commodities to alleviate their high prices, and this will be reviewed after three years. 6- Emphasizing the activation of the Competition System issued by the Royal Decree No. (M/25) dated 04/05/1425 AH. which aims to protect and encourage fair competition. 7- Preventing any kind of monopolistic practices and reviewing the Commercial Agencies System to prevent monopoly. 8- Activating control and awareness role of Consumer Protection Association. 9- Expediting completion of Supply Policy Draft. 10- Intensifying efforts of controlling prices, combating commercial fraud and activating the Cabinet's decisions No. (25) dated 06/02/1427 AH. and No. (202) dated 17/06/1428 AH. as regards following-up the concerned bodies in order to verify the commitment of commercial shops to price-tag all their exhibited items in addition to reporting any violations. --More
