The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of Pakistan, General Tariq Majid, has left for Bahrain for a four-day visit to meet Pakistani Naval Forces, high-ranking government and military officials of Bahrain and the Commander of U.S. Naval Forces Central Command (NAVCENT), an official statement said. Pakistan Navy completes its seven-month command of Combined Task Force (CTF) on February 25, 2008. It is comprised of naval ships from numerous coalition nations, including Canada, France, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, Pakistan, United Kingdom and the United States. The CTF has successfully conducted Maritime Security Operations (MSO) in the Gulf of Aden, Gulf of Oman, the Arabian Sea, Red Sea and the Indian Ocean.
