A decision to call a ministerial meeting to seek a breakthrough in negotiations for a global trade deal could be made in the coming weeks, Pascal Lamy, the head of the World Trade Organisation said on Saturday, according to Reuters. "We are much nearer to 'nearly there' than last year," Lamy said during a panel discussion on the WTO's Doha round of negotiations for a global trade deal.
