The Arab Cement Company announced today that its Board of Directors has recommended the Company's General Assembly to distribute SR 240 million to the shareholders as profits for the second half of last year (2007). These profits will be added to the SR 60 million profits distributed in the first half of last year. This will make the total profits of last year to reach an amount of SR 300 million. The company raised its capital last year by floating shares of priority rights with a value of SR 200 million to raise the capital from SR 600 million to SR 8oo million. The Jeddah-based Company, established in 1956,was on stream by 1959. Up to last December its capital was SR 600 million.
