183 persons of different nationalities, most of them were Asians, embraced Islam in 1428 through the cooperative office for Islamic call and guidance in Kharj, an affiliate of th ministry of Islamic affairs, endowments, call and guidance. The annual report of the office said the office had organized 1294 lectures as well as 353 courses and camps. Moreover, the office distributed copies of the Holy Quran and its meanings in addition to other Islamic books and cassettes.
