Citing the promising Commercial and Industrial opportunities between the Two Countries and the steady-strength of the Saudi-Japanese relations, The Assistant Secretary General of the Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry for foreign affairs, Eng. Khalid Al-Otaibi pointed out that Japan is the Second Economic Partner to The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with a Trade volume which amounted to $40.4 Billion in 2006. "Moreover, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is also considered as one of the most important source of energy for Japan," he said.
