Quseibi and a number of officials of the Public Sector and the Private Sector's delegates from various Establishments and Companies as well as representatives from the Japanese Petrochemical Industries' Sector who have already expressed their desire to enter into joint investment ventures with the Saudi Business Sector. Citing the promising Commercial and Industrial opportunities between the Two Countries and the steady-strength of the Saudi-Japanese relations, The Assistant Secretary General of the Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry for foreign affairs, Eng. Khalid Al-Otaibi pointed out that Japan is the Second Economic Partner to The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with a Trade volume which amounted to $40.4 Billion in 2006. "Moreover, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is also considered as one of the most important source of energy for Japan," he said.
