Yemen and France signed yesterday a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for studying continental edges emerging in the Gulf of Aden, news agency "SABA" reported. The MOU was signed by the Yemen Geological Survey and Mineral Resources Board (GSMRB) and Sana'a University and The French National Center for Scientific Research. Director General of the GSMRB Ismail al-Janad told "SABA" that the MOU stipulates conducting of studies on the continuous expansion of Gulf of Aden and geological components in the gulf as well as setting up observing satellite stations for measuring ranges between African and Yemeni coastal areas.
