A bus conductor in Myanmar was killed Wednesday by an explosion in his vehicle, a government official said. It followed three bombings in public places since late last week, reported AP. The official said the explosion occurred when the bus was in Pyinbonegyi, 105 kilometers (65 miles) north of Yangon, the country's biggest city. He spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to release information to the media. He said the blast took place when the bus was stopped to allow passengers to eat at a roadside shop, and the conductor remained on board. The bus was traveling to Yangon from Kyaukyi, a town about 168 kilometers (105 miles) to the north.
