Violence in Gaza Tuesday claimed several lives on both the Israeli and Palestinian sides, including the son of a senior Hamas leader, CNN reported. An exchange of gunfire between Israeli forces and Palestinians killed at least 15 people and wounded 20 others in northern Gaza, Palestinian authorities said. Separately, the son of senior Hamas leader Mahmoud Al-Zahar was killed when an Israeli aircraft fired into a car that approached soldiers. Al-Zahar, a leading figure in the Hamas movement, served as the Palestinian foreign minister under the Hamas-led government.
