He highlighted the Kingdom's high-profile in the world's economic map in its capacity as the world's biggest producer and exporter of oil, price of which recently hit $100 per barrel. He expressed belief that it is for the benefit of both producers and consumers of oil that its price is controlled at a reasonable level. He said such a policy would guarantee oil supplies for the current investments within the framework of energy and renewable and nuclear energy economics. He expressed hope that Saudi Arabia uses its leverage to lend emphasis for this policy. Then the French President had open talk with Saudi businessmen on the floor.
