The chamber of commerce and industry of Riyadh will organize on Sunday a lecture on the Gulf common market. The lecture will be delivered by Dr Abdulaziz bin Hamad al-Oweishik in the presence of a number of businessmen and economists. The lecture will shed light on the Gulf common market and its significance in the light of the world economic blocs and the impact of the establishment of the World Trade Organization (WTO). The GCC supreme council at recent meeting in Doha approved the establishment of the Gulf common market effective from January, 2008.
