Minister of Commerce and Industry Dr. Hashim bin Abdullah Yamani has reviewed at his office here with authorized delegates from dairy- producing companies the price hikes in their dairy products. Listening to their justifications for price hikes, the Minister expressed his keenness for maintaining strength of this Industry which has receiving support and encouragement of the Government in all their phases. Meanwhile Dr. Yamani stressed the need for the concerned Companies to review their decision to increase prices and to go back to pre-hikes situation. On their parts, the authorized delegates promised to study the issue and to give it their great consideration and they deeply appreciated his keenness for balancing the market and the interests of consumers.
