He also discussed the key role people play in global development and shared his perspective on the world's population and energy consumption. He went on to explain that the key to developing new technology is understanding what goes on in hydrocarbon reservoirs. He used examples of Saudi Aramco's cutting-edge technologies in seismic resolution, reservoir simulation and the new generation of smart wells that use wireless communication technology.
