President George W. Bush is committed to a diplomatic push for peace in the Middle East, the White House said Thursday ahead of the president's visit to the region next week. “He'll be talking about Israeli-Palestinian reconciliation, as well as Israeli-Arab reconciliation, and the overall situation of … Middle East regional security,” said White House spokeswoman Dana Perino. Bush is scheduled to depart Tuesday for a visit to Israel and the Palestinian territories in an effort to promote Middle East peace talks re-launched at an international conference in Annapolis, Maryland in November.
