Governor of Makkah Region patronizes MENA-EX 2008

Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Makkah Region, will patronize the activities of the International Exhibition for Mineral Exploration & Applications (MENA-EX) during the period from 22 to 25 January 2008.
The Exhibition is organized by "Ozone" in collaboration with The Saudi Geological Survey, The Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, The Ministry of Transport and Saudi Mining Company "MAADIN". This Exhibition will be organized at Jeddah International Centre for Exhibitions and Conferences.
The Expo is covering an area of more than 4,000 square meters, which will attract participation of 80 companies specializing in exploration and mining from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and abroad.
More than 600 experts and researchers in mining sector will also participate in the exhibition.
The volume of the Kingdom's investment in the mining sector amounted to more than SR 30 billion.
