Two soldiers were killed and three injured in a Claymore mine explosion in Sri Lanka's north central district of Anuradhapura Thursday morning, Xinhua quoted defense officials as saying. Officials said Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) rebels detonated the Claymore mine targeting a military vehicle at around 9:30 a.m. (0400 GMT) along the Yakawewa-Padaviya main road. The three injured soldiers have been admitted to the general hospital at Kebithigollewa, security sources said.
