Ambassadors of different countries stationed in Islamabad have termed former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto s assassination an irreparable loss not only to Pakistan but to the entire world. Ambassador of France Regis de Bolent in his remarks in the visitors s book for condolence messages described Bhutto as a victim of terrorism and extremism and a symbol in the fight of Muslim women and ardent supporter of democracy. Turkish Ambassador Rauf Soysal wrote that this heinous attack undoubtedly was aimed at pushing Pakistan into the state of chaos and instability. He said that terrorists would fail to achieve their goal of denting the democratic and reconciliation process. Ambassador of Japan Seiji Kojima said, I will like to express my deep condolence to the bereaved family and the people of Pakistan on the sudden demise of Benazir Bhutto. Her untimely demise is a great loss not only for Pakistan but also for the International community. Canadian ambassador David B. Colins expressing heartfelt condolence on behalf of people and government of Canada said May her death not be in vain and may her soul rest in peace . The Norwegian Ambassador termed her death a great loss to Pakistan. I wish to express our deep sorrow for the loss of a great politician. The tragic and untimely death of Bhutto is a loss not only for Pakistan but for the entire region , Indian High Commissioner (ambassador) wrote. The Bangladeshi High Commissioner (ambassador) said there is not a word to condole; no word to express grief over this tragic incident. The Spanish, Algerian, Chinese and Korean ambassadors also expressed their deepest grief and sorrow over the demise of great leader and sympathized with the bereaved family and the nation.
