Iraqi civilian killed in Mosul violence

An Iraqi civilian was killed and five policemen were wounded in a car bomb explosion that targeted a police patrol in southern Mosul, a senior security source said.
The Mosul blast also caused damage to nearby shops, the Voices of Iraq (VOI) news agency quoted Brigadier Abdul Kareem al-Juburi as saying.
