The United States' special envoy to Sudan resigned from his post, a U.S. official said on Friday. Andrew Natsios, who was appointed to the post in September 2006, decided to resign so that he can spend more time teaching at Georgetown University, the official said. The resignation is to be announced later in the day. While serving as a special envoy, Natsios was also teaching at Georgetown University in Washington and in his resignation letter, told Bush that he would like to return to that position full-time.
