Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Governor of Makkah Region Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz will open here tomorrow the 8th Makkah Conference entitled "Islamic Discourse and Era Problems." The three-day Conference is being organized by the MWL General Secretariat. MWL Secretary General Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsen Al-Turki said that the conference will discuss fast changes in the international situation. "MWL is looking forward to achieve a number of objective through this conference, particularly defining the importance of Islamic discourse", he added. Al-Turki said that there are three main topics to be discussed in the conference which are the discourse and its importance; the Islamic discourse between good and wrong interpretation of the revealed texts; and Islamic discourse between reality and hope. On this occasion, Al-Turki thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz for their support for MWL programmes that serve Islam and Muslims all over the world.
