Prince Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, the Chairman of Allegiance Pledge Commission expressed his thanks to and appreciation of The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz for his dear trust in appointing him as the Commission's Chairman. In a statement published today in Al-Riyadh and Okaz newspapers, Prince Mishaal said that the formation of the Commission came to meet the present and future requirements and it is one of the fruits of reform pursued by the King. He said," We, the sons of King Abdulaziz, are sincere to the religion, people and the homeland and we consider the public interest." Prince Mishaal noted that the Commission was unanimously formed by the sons and grandsons of the founder King. He added, "The commission is a political, historical and national achievement registered in gold letters for the King. The idea of its establishment emanated from the King's own initiative." The prince commended the Kingdom's experience in combating terrorism and its success in preemptive strikes against terrorists.
