Three Croats died Monday morning in a crash of a small plane near the Slovak capital Bratislava, the Slovak police said, according to dpa. The plane carrying the three - aged 19, 35 and 53 - crashed shortly before 9:30 am CET (0830 GMT) near the village of Cierna Voda near Bratislava, the police said in a statement. The cause of the crash was not immediately known. On Sunday, a Beechcraft twin-engine flying from the Czech city of Hradec Kralove crashed during its final approach to Kiev's Zhuliani airport, killing all five people onboard. The plane was owned by a Czech company Fun Air based in the western Bohemian spa town of Karlovy Vary, CTK news agency reported Monday. The company, whose sole owner was reported to have died in Sunday's crash, ran a pilot school, offered sightseeing flights and aero taxi services. Ukrainian authorities are investigating the causes of the deadly crash, which took place amid poor weather conditions.
