The Ministry of Health, represented by Health Affairs Directorate at Makkah has finished the SR. 22,155,909 third phase of Jabal Al-rahmah Hospital at Arafat which include five wards for sun-stroke, laboratories and X Rays sections as well as female-housing unit, a restaurant and a kitchen. The 240-members Hospital is comprised of medical manpower of a number of Physicians, nurses and technicians. The Hospital was implemented in three phases since 1426 AH and has 265-bed capacity in addition to 17-bed for intensive care. The Hospital's capacity can be raised to 400 beds in case of an emergency, said Makkah region's Director for Health Affairs Khalid bin Qassim al-samiri, who is also the deputy chairman of the Hajj Health Committee. This Hospital came into existence in line with the great care and attention being extended by The Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and his faithful Crown Prince to ensure that best and high-quality health services presented to pilgrims, he added.
