Thani delivered the following speech " In the name of Allah - Most Gracious, Most Merciful My Brother Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and brothers - Your Majesties and Highnesses I thank you all - our sincere thanks and appreciation for your kind participation in the works of this summit, which has had a great impact and which ended with significant and positive results. We have confirmed that the meeting reaffirmed the brotherly deep concern of all leaders of the GCC countries to strengthen the ties of brotherhood and solidarity between our nations and to promote and develop our march for the good of our peoples and their development. I would also like to note our deliberations were characterized by the fraternal spirit and full understanding stemming from our firm belief and conviction for the unity of our target and destiny. The success of this summit proves that the march of the Gulf Cooperation Council is proceeding ahead because we have the will and determination to keep our Gulf House strong, fraternal and secured and God willing, we will continue to work together in various fields to achieve a better tomorrow for our people and this remains the best embodiment of what brings us together in the bonds of strong fraternal ties. I am looking forward to our next meeting in the brotherly Sultanate of Oman to develop the march of the Gulf joint work and achieve the aspirations and hopes of our peoples." Then, the Emir of the State of Qatar announced the conclusion of the twenty-eighth session of the Summit of Their Majesties and Their Highnesses - the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council. The GCC is made up of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
