U.S. President George W. Bush is set to hold a press conference on Tuesday morning to push the U.S. Congress to approve funding for U.S. troops and to pass key pieces of legislation. Bush's conference is a response to reporter's inquiries about when the president would take questions from the press, White House press secretary Dana Perino said. Bush's last news conference was October 17, 2007. The conference comes after Bush made a statement in the White House Rose Garden on Monday also urging Congress to move on U.S. troop funding and federal budget legislation.
