Naimi said "I am proud to say that Saudi Arabia supplies the continent of Asia with more than (4.5) million barrels per day of petroleum, which is approximately one half of all the oil Saudi Arabia produces, and equals to about twenty five percent of total Asian imports. We regard our commitment to the Asian market as a basic business value. Saudi Arabia is willing and able to supply its customers with the petroleum they need now and in the future, in times of abundance and in times of scarcity. We recognize that economic growth in the continent means growth in oil demand in coming years, and we will take all necessary measures to supply Asian nations with the petroleum that they need to fuel their economic growth. The Kingdom, having about one quarter of the world's petroleum resources, takes a constructive stance on global as well as Asian economic growth, and firmly ascribes to the philosophy of a stable petroleum market. --MORE
