Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif flew back into Pakistan from Saudi Arabia by a special plane Sunday evening, ending his seven-year exile, according to officials of his Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). Thousands of Sharif supporters accorded him a rousing welcome at the Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore, the hometown of Sharif. Some forty members of the Sharif family accompanied the former prime minister. Former President of Pakistan Rafiq Tarar and all the top leaders of the PML-N received Sharif at the airport.
