French President Nicolas Sarkozy arrived in the western Chinese city of Xi'an at the start of an official visit to China. Sarkozy touched down in Xi'an for a visit to the famed terracotta army of China's first emperor and was due to fly later to Beijing for a dinner with Chinese President Hu Jintao. The two leaders hold more meetings Monday, before Sarkozy flies to Shanghai on Tuesday and then leaves for Paris that night. Aides say Sarkozy will focus on the environment, commercial ties, Africa, China's international role and bilateral concerns.
