A suicide bomber targeting Italian soldiers killed six Afghans, including several children, Afghan officials said Saturday. The attack wounded nine people, including three of the soldiers, who were building a bridge about 10 kilometers (5 miles) west of Kabul, said Zemeri Bashary, the Interior Ministry spokesman, according to a report of the Associated Press. Bashary said six children were killed in the bombing. Abdul Razaq, the chief government official in the Paghman area, where the bombing occurred, said two of the dead were children.
