Addressing IMO's General Assembly, Dr al-Ouhali reiterated the keenness of the Kingdom on enhancing cooperation with the other countries of the world for enhancing the pillars of global security and stability. Dr al-Ouhali pointed out to the initiative of King Abdullah at OPEC summit , recently held in Riyadh, to allocate $300 million for supporting the program of researches and studies pertaining to energy, environment and climatic changes. He said the Royal Saudi Naval Forces had participated in the operation which aimed at combating terrorism and smuggling weapons and drugs as well as illegal immigration.
