A 46-year-old gunman shot and killed a security guard Friday at a tax office in Copenhagen, police said, according to AP. Police arrested the suspect shortly after the shooting, and said he confessed to the attack. The motive was unclear, police spokesman Lau Thygesen said. The suspect, who was not identified, walked into the tax office in Copenhagen and demanded to get an apartment, Brian Riis Nielsen, manager of the Dansikring security company, told the TV2 News station. When staff told him they could not help him, he pulled out a gun. The security guard was shot in the head as he tried to intervene, Riis Nielsen said. Several shocked employees and customers were taken to a nearby hospital to receive psychological counseling.
