Prince Mohamed bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Jazan Region will lay the foundation stone here on Saturday for 130-Kilometers long coastal highway, which is estimated to cost SR 599,999,998. This will be during the Governor's inspection tour of the site of Jazan Economic City. During the tour, he will sign a number of contracts and lay foundation stones for some other projects in the City. This was disclosed by Director General of Roads and Transportation in Jazan Eng. Nasser bin Ali Alhazmi who pointed out that the 30-month long highway project included building of three tracks and along with a central Island with a breadth of 11 meters as well as establishing several upper intercrossing to serve cities through which the highway will pass. The project will contribute a lot in serving the region, especially Jazan Economic City , its neighborhood and the Medical City of Jazan as the project will be establish near these sites, he added.
